Technology has come a long way in just a few years, especially in the tablet realm. In an age where everything has to be almost instant, contractors will have to play catch up if they want to compete. As a contractor myself I’m always looking for ways to get drawings & quotes out faster. For little projects like bathrooms I use “Home Design HD” to give a quick idea of what the job will look like and help the layout process. Nothing fancy just an idea tool.
From drawing ideas to invoicing and even creating proposals, the Apps keep getting better. Here are couple that I use and would help you.
-Drop Box- Store pictures, documents, and other items that take up space
-Invoice to Go- Great invoicing tool. Keeps track of who’s been billed and gives quarterly statements
-Docs to go- Open any file type and edit
-Measures- Import a picture and drag arrows with comments and dimensions
-Pages- Perfect for creating very nice proposals, flyers, or letter head
-WordPress- For blogging
It takes time to utilize all of them together, but once you have a system down it’s easy.
