It truly amazes me the lack of knowledge some trades people have. At a recent class I took to keep my Builder’s License current, the instructor asked basic questions about the industry that everyone should know, but no one could answer them. In the back of my head I’m thinking, this is who I’m competing against. We have all the answer at our exsposal via the internet now. I carry my IPad everyday and if I’m not sure of a detail, I use websites like Building Science.com or JLCOnline.com get the answers.
Education is key to a quaility end result. Like your teacher always said “If you don’t know the answer, ask!”
