Remember When We Worked Together

No, this isn’t a political rant. Believe it or not trades used to care about the next guy following them in the process of construction. I stress this on every project either big or small that if we want to create the best end result for our customer, we have to help each other out. From leaving garbage in the path of the drywaller on stilts to banging the walls that the painter just finished. I once told a painter, “Hey I just hit the wall with my tool pouch” while he was still on-site. In turn, he didn’t have to make a special trip to do a repair, which saves him money and the customer.

Times have been tough for the last couple years and to produce a nice job it takes money. Unfortunately we have “so called” contractors under bidding us responsible tradesmen and under performing. The end result is we all suffer. I’ve seen almost everything and will continue to bring back true craftsmanship to Michigan. I truly believe you get what you payed for but you need to educate yourself before jumping into such a big purchase.

That’s why I Created www.RemodelingRoyalOak.com
